Publicis Health + SpArc Philadelphia: Together For Good

Hundreds of employees from local agencies volunteer time for memorable day of service, hosting and entertaining adults with disabilities

On Friday, August 12, five local Philadelphia agencies that are part of Publicis Health, the world’s premier health and wellness communications group, will close their doors for the day, sending hundreds of employees to volunteer their time in collaboration with SpArc Philadelphia for an incredible fun-filled “day of service.” SpArc Philadelphia is an organization that offers a variety of services and programs aimed at adults in the region with physical and intellectual disabilities, and Publicis Health is one of the largest agency employers in Philadelphia. Among the agencies participating in this year’s day of service are Digitas Health LifeBrands, Discovery USA, Evolvr, Publicis Health Media and Razorfish Health. Publicis Health’s Philadelphia Community Service Day has happened for the past eight years, and projects have ranged from providing much-needed services for local public schools to providing support for military families.

“After our initial meeting with the remarkable people at SpArc, our choice for this year’s work was easy,” said Len Dolce, Publicis Health Divisional CFO. “The day’s projects consist of beautifying the facility through gardening, painting inspirational murals, and working with each of the participants on developing a memorable work of art. The day will culminate with food, games, and live music performed by our employees. We expect to benefit just as much, if not more, from this exciting collaboration with SpArc.”
