The honorees are chosen based on their unique skill sets and standout performance on behalf of a brand or a campaign or for their organization. The Women to Watch awards will be handed out at an event on June 7, 2018, in New York City.
“Celby Richoux is a well-rounded leader and we are excited that she’s being honored as a Woman to Watch,” said Matt McNally. President, Digitas Health North America. “She has consistently championed the use of social and digital media as one of the most effective ways to impact audiences, and Digitas Health clients have seen direct results due to these tactics. She brings a wealth of experience from the consumer sector, and her hybrid qualities as a copywriter and strategist have given Celby a patient-centric perspective on helping, not selling.”
Impacting patient outcomes is Richoux’s passion, and in her career at Digitas Health she has led social strategy and co-led creative development for two of the agency’s most effective campaigns: AbbVie’s Through Thick & Thin Campaign, an industry-first Tumblr and Snapchat initiative focused on increasing adherence to pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy (PERT) of teens with cystic fibrosis, and Gilead’s Healthysexual Campaign, a sexual health awareness Tumblr and Snapchat initiative focused on increasing awareness of HIV prevention options in at-risk populations.
Richoux is an active mentor in the Digitas Health Mentorship Program and has been recognized as an Innovator at the Publicis Health Senior Leadership Conference for establishing the agency content strategy framework. In her spare time, she is also is president and CEO of “Elly’s Kids – For The Love of the Game Foundation,” a 501c3 non-profit focused on supporting low-income baseball and softball players in the Houston area, and is the author of Bacon & Butter: The Ultimate Ketogenic Cookbook.
