Which social platform do you frequent the most?
Snapchat is by far my most used, but I have a deep-rooted love for Instagram and Tumblr.
Share your music playlist.
Not sure what this says about me, but here are my five most recently played songs according to Spotify:
Can’t Do Without You – Caribou
Good Intentions – Disclosure ft. Miguel
Weak – Wet
Two Weeks – FKA Twigs
What do you mean? – Justin Bieber (guilty pleasure)
What’s your spirit animal?
Easily my dog Cooper. I got him a little over two years ago and he’s been my best friend ever since. We spend a lot of time together and have a great bond.
Best advice you’ve ever received?
I’ve received some great advice from many brilliant people in my life, but my boyfriend repeatedly reminds me of the KISS principle; “Keep it simple, stupid.” It’s a phrase coined by the U.S. Navy in the 1960’s that states most systems work best if they’re kept simple. I’m a big believer in reaching success through simplicity. Sometimes I’m guilty of over-analyzing situations which only complicates matters, so this is a friendly reminder to adjust my thinking and keep it simple, stupid.
Favorite quote to live by?
I recently got hooked on Joan Didion novels and I’ve become captivated by her writing style. She has such a unique ability of turning her personal sorrow into a learning experience for her readers. The most important lesson I’ve learned from her is that, “Life changes in the instant. The ordinary instant.”
What would you be doing if you weren’t on the social media team at an agency?
I love working in social media and I have to pinch myself sometimes to make sure that I’m not dreaming and that it’s actually my career.I’m also really into real estate and property development. So if I wasn’t on the social team, I like to think that I would be a successful property developer contributing to the development of an awesome U.S. city. Maybe with my own hit show on HGTV… Shoot for the stars, right?
What was your last Google search?
I’m not sure if I’m embarrassed about this or not, but it was “Homemade garlic bread recipes.”
